Why we're loving it in Greenville!

1. The People

All of our customers we interact with at My Storage Greenville are just great people. When you’re a business, your customers are everything. We wouldn’t be running without the great support from the people of Greenville, and we’ve been fortunate to be able to expand recently with more units.

2. The Location

Greenville has a unique location that offers plenty to do! It's also just a 15 minute drive to Grand Rapids. It’s also a great location for us, just a short drive to My Storage Ionia and My Storage Lowell, our two other storage facilities in the area.

Greenville was named after a man named John Green, who settled in southwest Montcalm County in 1844. He constructed a sawmill on the flat river that became the basis of Greenville today.

3. Golf. Golf. Golf.

The Greenville area is one of the underrated spots in Michigan Golf. You've got Glenkerry located on Kent Rd. For an indoor and outdoor driving range, plenty of clubs and gear you can check out the Golf Emporium on 14 mile rd. Even some heated booths in the winter time Then it's just a short drive to other local courses like Candlestone, Double R, Brookside, and the Links at Bowen Lake. If you want to mix it up, visit the Kicks at Bowen Lake for some foot golf. That's right kick a soccer ball toward the hole instead!

4. The Business Camraderie

There’s over 300 businesses in Greenville which for a small town, is pretty crazy to think about. We’re working with several of the businesses listed here to help with promoting eachother, and that’s just what it’s all about if you’re a business owner. We all want eachother to grow and succeed.

5. The Events

The Danish Festival is one of the highlights of the many events that happen in Greenville.

If you like high school football, Legacy Field is perhaps the best high school facility in West Michigan. Hosting state semifinals and 8-man state championships, there's nothing like a Friday night watching the Yellow Jackets at Legacy.

6. Great Lakes Land Holdings and our Manufacturing Facility

Did you know all of our storage units are built right here in Michigan? At My Storage Greenville, we take pride in the fact that each storage unit is built by hand at one of our three manufacturing facilities, Lowell, MI,  Decatur, AL and Bismarck, ND! All of the storage units at My Storage Greenville come from our Lowell manufacturing facility. We manufacture two sizes of steel storage units to be delivered to your place of business; an 8’ x 12.5’, and a 10’ x 16.5’. These attractive steel storage buildings are built to last with welded framing consisting of 11 & 14 gauge structural steel, 26 gauge metal siding/roof with a 40-year silicone polyester paint. For orders of 35 or more ask about color matching your existing units.

7. Downtown

The Downtown Greenville Historic District was registered in the National Register of Historic Places in 2008, there's plenty of cool historical sites in the city that also serves as the birthplace of Meijer.

Check out the full list here.

Maybe hit up Deer Tracks Junction and visit the white tail deer farm.

8. The Food

Greenville is spoiled for choice as far as great food. Plenty of locally owned family style restaurants includings the Winter Inn, Hop Hog Backyard & Brewpub, and El Rancho. Of course there's no better way to start the day than breakfast over at Margo's Family Restaurant.

Our favorite appetizer. The meatball sliders over at Flo's Pizzeria Ristorante & Sports Bar. Incredible. Get some food and entertainment at Jacket Lanes, where you can bowl and fill your stomach. There's also plenty of chain restaurants including Popeye's, Applebee's, and Culver's.

9. Outdoor Activities

Our employees loves the outdoors, and Greenville has plenty of great spots. We mentioned golf of course, but there's also water activities like kayaking, canoeing, and tubing on the Flat River that runs right through town. Greenville also has six pickleball courts, disc golf, and plenty of trails for hiking and biking.

If you love winter sports, Tower Mountain is a 10-acre park located at the intersection of Baldwin and South Streets. The park is hugely popular in the winter months. The park includes a sledding/tubing hill as well as a skiing/snowboarding hill.

Pictured Below - Frugthaven Farm isn't just a wedding venue. They also offer coffee, unique shopping, outdoor events, weddings, and hard cider tasting. The Klackle Pavillion even hosts some sporting events.
